'My roots, breath deeply. Keep me connected with the core of me.' I just listened to a woman sing this mantra for 7 minutes while trying to stay on the breath. The practice felt better today after the shambles that was my last post. Not that I care of course. I know that we all get days like this, days when nothing seems to work. Today, was a different matter entirely. I felt a deep inner glow - whatever the hell that is - and a certain level of contentment. I'm not sure whether I liked practicing with the sing-song mantra of not. Something is telling me to breathe in silence, but I think I'll stick to the guided meditations for a while yet. I don't want to get ahead of myself. During today's practice I did have some thoughts. Namely, the thoughts that arise in our head cause us to feel a certain way (negative/positive/indifferent) and then we as humans 'feel' that way. How are you today?
